Mahima
I photographed a gathering of Mahima monks, moving between the courtyard, the shrine and the people taking part.
The photographs record people assembled near the illuminated shrine, a quiet moment with a vessel, and collective movement across the wet courtyard.
During the procession, I was invited to join. That invitation changed my place in the encounter for a little while. The photographs preserve the scenes around it; the original videos preserve its movement and sound.
